My Passports With Purpose Shopping List
December 12th, 2011 | Jill Robinson
There are only a few days left in the 2011 Passports With Purpose fundraiser. We’re halfway to our goal of raising $80,000 to build two libraries in Zambia with Room to Read. If you haven’t tried to win one of the amazing prizes travel bloggers have secured while, at the same time, donating as little as $10 (or more, for more chances)—now’s the time to look through the prize list and give!
Of course, my favorite prizes are the ones offered by Hotel Vitale and the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. But I thought I’d help out by highlighting some other favorite prizes, in case you need a speedy list for inspiration:
- If you don’t already have a Kindle, there are a handful of Kindle Fire prizes, like this one from The Vacation Gals.
- If you frequently vacation in places that have Hyatt hotels, it would be handy to have 110,000 Hyatt Gold Passport Points, from BoardingArea.
- I’m always a sucker for the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, especially its rooftop pool in the hot summer. A Traveler’s Library is offering three nights in a deluxe room.
- I’ve been drooling over the idea of this trip: an 8-night Thailand bike/cruise tour from Bangkok to Koh Samui, offered by Lola Akinmade Akerstrom.
But if something else on the list gets you excited, by all means, go for it. Please help us meet our goal!
