How much do you know about aloe? It happens to be one of Aruba’s top exported products, and I’ve got a couple of bottles of Aruba Aloe after sun lotion squirreled away in a drawer for those days when I forget to reapply my sunscreen. But why settle for a tube of lotion when you can win two nights at the Aruba Marriott Resort?
From Dec. 12-16, the hotel will hold a Twitter contest, and post daily true and false statements about the aloe plant’s history on the island and its use at the Aruba Marriott Resort. To enter, follow @arubamarriott, determine which is a true or false statement, re-tweet the statement with an answer of “true” or “false” and use the hashtag #ALOE.
The contest winner will receive two free nights at the resort. On Monday, Dec. 19, the winner will be randomly selected and announced via Twitter.
The Aruba Marriott Resort is located on Palm Beach, where you can see kite boarders zipping by in the impossibly turquoise water right outside your window. It’s where I learned to kite board, but if that’s too fast for you and you’d rather laze by the pool or on the beach, that’s perfectly fine too.
Get on it, brush up on your aloe facts and win the hotel stay!
