While we may enjoy celebrating the accomplishments of badass outdoor athletes, the majority of us have smaller (but no less important) successes. And it’s those things—whether it’s getting out on a hike a number of days in a row or pushing your outdoor goals by going farther, higher, faster—that are the most relatable to everyday adventurers.
I’ve launched a new Instagram feed, @tinylittlevictories, to celebrate the small-to-large accomplishments we all have in the outdoors. Maybe you go out into nature to keep a balance to your hectic life. Maybe you’re a person of color or genderqueer and haven’t felt like you’ve been welcomed into the outdoors industry. Maybe you’re getting back on track after an injury. Maybe you never thought of yourself as an outdoors person. Celebrate your victory, no matter how small, at @tinylittlevictories.
Add @tinylittlevictories on IG and tag selfies with #tinylittlevictories *or* #tinylittlevictory to be featured.
The outdoors is a wondrous place for everyone. Get out there.
