Summer Solstice was just yesterday, and yet it feels as if it’s been summer for a while now. At least, I’ve been celebrating the longer days.
Two big articles and one huge project I’m really proud of were recently published:
Discovering Cafayate, for Private Clubs, covers my trip to an up-and-coming wine region in Argentina. Why don’t you know about it? You haven’t read my article.
7 Truly Epic Trips for Deeply Adventurous Travelers, for AFAR, looks really great online, but grab the July/August issue of the magazine and see just how many pages this article spans. It’s beautiful.
Exceptional Central Coast, also for AFAR, is the result of years of knowledge and research of California’s Central Coast region, and I’m excited to pass it all on to folks making travel plans to the region.
In addition, there are a few more articles to add to my 2018 list:
Going green: Can we travel the world without killing the planet? for the San Francisco Chronicle.
Stake Your Claim at This Private Mountain Community Near Lake Tahoe for Robb Report.
Hit the Trail With the Best Hiking Shoes and Boots for Women for AFAR.
Hotels claim LEED status, but what does it really mean? for the San Francisco Chronicle.
Santa Barbara serenity abounds in region’s 5 best public gardens for the San Francisco Chronicle.
Even more articles to come, soon!
Summer brings everyone outside, and even if you’re not the most badass of athletes, there’s always something to celebrate. Have you checked out my new Instagram feed, @tinylittlevictories? Add it to your IG follow list and tag selfies with #tinylittlevictories *or* #tinylittlevictory to be featured. Tell me what gets you outdoors (even on the hard days), what makes you happy to be out there, or even what small accomplishment makes you proudest.
